Absolutely stunning - 4.5 out of 5 (8/7/2003)
Most People consider DAY OF THE DEAD the weak link in the zombie trilogy filmed by George Romero, but I would have to disagree with that statement because this is a film that shows what happens when the zombies finally take over the world, and it's not a pretty picture.
DAY OF THE DEAD was the least successful of the three movies by Romero although that may have had something to do with the fact that it was lost in a glut of zombie related titles released theatrically in 1985. The most succe

A Zombie movie you can watch - 3.75 out of 5 (2/23/2004)
Day of the dead, is a zombie movie lovers dream. Here is a Zombie movie that you can actually believe and the characters have some "character" to them. The story line is one of the best well written next to "Dawn of the Dead". The story starts the viewer off with a view of what hell could possible look like and the true fear of being outnumbered and alone looking for, hopeing for, survivors.

this movie rules, i mean nuff said right there. You want some classic zombie, romero, savini, flesh munchin, statement, effects, gorrrrry ass horror flick, that rules the motha ship boyyyyy. then you best be watchin this flick, cause by all means it rules, and if you watch or buy this you rule. The special features are great, and the presentation of the movie rules. By this, one of the best zombie movies ever. (drinkin and zombies rullleee!)

Finally a worthy edition - 5 out of 5 (8/25/2003)
Day of the Dead has finally gotten the treatment it deserves on dvd. The film transfer in this version is brilliant, and the same goes for the audio. The extras are great. I really enjoyed the 'Many days of Day of the Dead' as it gives interesting insight into the making of the film. The outtakes are also definitely worth watching because you get to see special effects wizard Tom Savini in action.This special edition finally puts to rest the horrible first transfer, and I can't wait to see Dawn
